Sabrinah launches “Water,” her 2015 spring jewelry collection at NYFW event.
Vermilion Event Center, 480 Lexington Avenue New York, NY February 20, 2015 The Emerging Trends Spotlight Show brims with creative design during New York Fashion Week. A spotlight event is the perfect place for attendees to get close and personal to the spring 2015 collection by Sabrinah Renee, named “WATER.”
The spring 2015 collection, “WATER” by Sabrinah Renee is created with healing gemstones and is inspired by her deep connection to the Sea. Integrating old-world charm and high fashion, her gemological beauties represent the movement, reflections, ombre blues, and colorful inhabitants of the waters.
“I want people to feel the qualities of water as they gaze at my pieces. I want my collection of jewels to spark a memory of an exotic beach, a favorite lake, stream, or wherever their own personal water might be. I want them to feel the movement of the water and embrace the serenity that water brings. The smell of rain, the lapping tides, the crest of a wave… Where the land meets the sea is a magical and mysterious place. My spring collection was created to invoke every emotion related to water."
Sabrinah, an East Coast native, now continues her career in Fort Worth, Texas. Her unique jewelry is completely hand-fabricated by the meticulous weaving and coiling of precious metal wires. Sabrinah demonstrates a combination of academic and self-taught jewelry artistry, specializing in ultra-custom design and limited edition pieces.
This spotlight event provides the opportunity to see the detailed work and superb craftsmanship of jewelry made by Sabrinah Renee. Her distinct design style creates a strong desire among collectors and her pieces have been shown in galleries and events across the country.
